Each morning, the journaler must write down their "mood," but in a very abstract way—no plain emotions, only words that evoke feelings. The goal is to capture a mood as if it were an art piece or a film scene. "Today feels like an autumn afternoon in an indie film—dappled sunlight through trees and a record playing in the background"

Engaging with the world through pseudo-intellectual musings or deep thoughts about life, culture, and everything in between. Format: write a mini-essay or dialogue between two fictional characters (or a fictionalised version of yourself) discussing a deep, “problematic” topic
